AOL Video posted a posted a pair of exclusive behind-the-scenes clips Thursday afternoon from Katie Couric’s preparations for her Sept. 5 “CBS Evening News” debut.

The clips, shown on AOL.com/television, came to AOL via a special one-off deal with the network. The portal said it will add additional videos Friday and on Sept. 5.

In the clips posted Thursday, the news anchor walks down 57th Street in the rain to the “60 Minutes” office for a piece she’s working on for that show. She discusses her new job and the traffic on the street. “How ironic it would be if I was hit by a bus with my picture on it,” she remarks.

In another video, she talks with a man in the lobby, interviews Harry Smith and discusses her preparations for the new gig. In Friday’s videos, AOL said, she’ll discuss her “60 Minutes” story, while the Sept. 5 installment should feature her final dress rehearsal.
