CBS and NBC tied for the week ended Aug. 13 in the adults 18 to 49 age group, with CBS propelled by repeats of its scripted series and NBC getting a ratings boost from pro football.

Two Fox programs tied for the crown as highest rated programs, with summer reality series “So You Think You Can Dance” and “Hell’s Kitchen” leading among audiences. Both shows scored a 3.9 rating among adults 18 to 49, a number that include live viewing plus same day viewing via video digital recorders, according to Nielsen Media Research.

A repeat of CBS’s drama “CSI: Miami” placed third with a 3.5, followed by a three-way tie between a “Two and a Half Men” repeat, NBC’s summer reality series “America’s Got Talent” and NBC’s telecast of the pre-season game between the Washington Redskins and the Cincinnati Bengals (all 3.2).

CBS and NBC both scored an average 2.2 rating in the age group, while Fox was close behind with a 2.1. ABC followed with a 1.8, UPN with a 0.8 and The WB with a 0.7.
