The setup: With all due respect to the aurally enhanced Paris Hilton and her debut on YouTube last week, viral video is best served raw—like when a soccer ball ricochets off the goal post and bonks the goalie on the head. That’s the sort of Candid Camera “oops” moment that’s made viral video, well, viral. Two boys, a soccer field, and a chortle—all packaged neatly in four seconds for the ADD online audience.

The source: According to information posted on MySpace.com, a 26-year-old male Londoner uploaded the video.

The hits: The clip was posted Aug. 15 and quickly ticked up on MySpace, reaching 770,000 views by Aug 23.
