Warner Bros. Online is launching a Web site for the classic animation house Hanna-Barbera, relaunching its Scooby-Doo Web site and adding new content to its LooneyTunes.com site.

Each site will roll out new content, including broadband video channels featuring classic animated shorts, original downloadable audio content, customized applications, social networking, user-generated content and games.

Users will get access to selected Hanna-Barbera episodes on a new broadband channel and be able to play a series of new games utilizing the animation house’s stable of characters. In addition, the Looney Tunes site will enable users to create and download customized images and flash animations of Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck and the other characters to share on their own Web pages. Scooby-Doo.com will offer original audio mysteries that can be downloaded onto computers and portable media devices.

The new Scooby-Doo.com will debut Aug. 15 as a destination for kids ages 2 to 12. The site will offer users 19 games, long-form episodic mystery adventures and 80 exclusive downloads.

Staci Miller, VP of operations for Warner Bros. Online, made the announcement Tuesday.
