TelevisionWeek is trawling video-sharing Web sites to find the hottest clips spreading on the Internet.

The setup: If you thought it was hard out there for a pimp, try being white and nerdy. In Weird Al Yankovic’s latest single, the singer laments that he can’t “roll with the gangstas” because he’s just too white and nerdy. “Ain’t got no grills but I still wear braces / I order all of my sandwiches with mayonnaise,” the ultimate lampooner croons in a spoof of rapper Chamillionaire’s hit “Ridin.”‘ “I can sure kick your butt in a game of ping-pong / I’ll ace any trivia quiz you bring on / I’m fluent in JavaScript as well as Klingon.” Weird Al-wearing a tight track suit, knee pads and helmet-then rolls past some rappers on his Segway.

The source: Mr. Yankovic’s album is slated for a Sept. 26 release. On YouTube, he appears to have posted the video himself.

The hits: The video made the viral rounds last week, generating more than 460,000 views on Break.com, more than 300,000 on YouTube and more than 70,000 on Google Video.
