Shaking up its schedule in an attempt to strengthen its new fall comedy entry, CBS is switching time periods for debut series “The Class” and sophomore sitcom “How I Met Your Mother.”
Effective Oct. 9, “Mother” will move from 8:30 p.m. (ET) to 8 p.m., replacing “Class.” In turn, “Class” is moving into the “Mother’s” old time slot.
“Class,” which has been the ratings laggard on CBS’s two-hour Monday comedy block during its first few weeks on the air, will have the potential of receiving a lead-in boost from “Mother.”
“Class” is from craneklarik productions, in association with Warner Bros. Television. “Mother” is produced by 20th Century Fox Television.
