Magee Promoted at Fox News

Kevin Magee has been promoted from senior VP to executive VP of Fox News. He will continue to report to Roger Ailes, chairman and CEO of Fox News and chairman of Fox Television Stations.

In addition to continuing his oversight of Fox News Radio, Mr. Magee will now be responsible for the syndicated morning show with Juliet Huddy and Mike Jerrick, which will debut in 2007 on Fox Television Stations. He also will serve as the executive in charge of the proposed business channel in the event distribution is secured for its launch.

“Kevin’s successful television programming background and his remarkable performance in building Fox News Radio will be instrumental in his new role of extending the Fox News brand into the future,” Mr. Ailes said in the announcement.

Mr. Magee worked at ABC’s “Good Morning America” and CNBC before joining Fox News in 2001 as programming VP.
