Triple Threat Gives CBS a Friday Win in Demo

CBS was the No. 1-rated broadcast network in adults 18 to 49 Friday, scoring three of the top four shows of the night.

CBS’s 9 p.m. (ET) drama “Close to Home” and 10 p.m. drama “Numb3rs” tied for first place, each scoring a 2.9 preliminary national rating, a number that include live viewing plus same-day viewing via digital video recorders, according to Nielsen Media Research.

The network’s 8 p.m. drama “Ghost Whisperer” tied for third place with NBC’s 9 p.m. newsmagazine “Dateline: To Catch a Predator.” Both shows scored a 2.8 rating in adults 18 to 49.

CBS was the top broadcaster with a 2.9 rating in adults 18 to 49, followed by NBC (2.7), ABC (2.0), Fox (1.6) and The CW (1.4).
