The World Series gave Fox a significant ratings bump, but it wasn’t enough to challenge the Big 3 networks, which continued to dominate the fall season in Week 6.

ABC led with a 3.9 average rating for the week ending Oct. 29 among adults 18 to 49, according to Nielsen Media Research. CBS (3.6) and NBC (3.5) battled for second.

Fox won three nights during the week with a trio of World Series games and boosted its average for the week by 21 percent compared with the same period last year. Fox’s gain also helped drag the other networks down slightly compared with last year. NBC came in fourth with a 3.2. The CW had 1.5.

Among total viewers, CBS once again led with 12.3 million average viewers, followed by ABC (11.4), Fox (10.0), NBC (9.7) and The CW (3.6)
