Former “Rosie O’Donnell Show” executive producer Bernie Young has been tapped to replace Rob Dauber as co-executive producer of “The Martha Stewart Show.”

Mr. Dauber exited the nationally syndicated NBC Universal Domestic Television Distribution series last month amid a sophomore season ratings slump. Mr. Young takes the position effective immediately.

“Bernie’s credentials speak for themselves,” said Mark Burnett, an executive producer on the show. “I first got to know Bernie in 2002, when I convinced Rosie O’Donnell to host the finale of the fourth season of ‘Survivor.’ I knew then that Bernie was someone I’d eventually work with. I’m glad that’s come true.”

“Martha” was recently renewed for a third season by NBC-owned and -operated stations and other affiliates.
