Martha Stewart Firm Links With Yahoo Food

Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia on Thursday announced a multiyear agreement to provide how-to multimedia content to the new Yahoo Food channel.

Earlier this week, MSLO announced a non-exclusive deal with Google to put its broadcast assets on the Web, with the two companies sharing ad revenues.

The Yahoo deal makes MSLO a key content provider to the new food site and includes recipes, menus, instructions and how-to video. Users will be able to access marthastewart.com via Yahoo for additional content and to subscribe to MSLO publications.

The new agreement is an important part of MSLO’s strategy to forge strategic relationships with Internet brands and destinations in order to deploy MSLO’s assets digitally and to drive traffic to the marthastewart.com Web site, the company said.
