Ohio State-Michigan Football Game Rocks Ratings

The battle between college football’s two top-ranked teams generated the biggest TV audience for a regular season games in 13 years.

Ohio State’s victory over Michigan on ABC averaged a 13.4 rating and 21.8 million viewers, according to a fast national report from Nielsen Media Research, the biggest audience since a Florida State-Notre Dame contest on Nov. 13, 1993.

The Ohio State-Michigan game will be rerun on ESPNU Monday at 7 p.m. ET and Thursday at 9 p.m. ET and on ESPN Classic at 9 p.m., on Wednesday.
