In another step in its reshuffle of senior management, NBC Universal on Monday named Bridget Baker to the new post of president of NBC Universal Networks Distribution.

Ms. Baker had been executive VP of cable distribution and reported to David Zaslav, president of NBC Universal Cable and Domestic TV and New Media Distribution, who is leaving the company to become CEO of Discovery Communications. Ms. Baker will handle many of Mr. Zaslav’s former responsibilities.

She reports to Jeff Zucker, CEO of the NBC Universal Television Group. Mr. Zaslav reported to Randy Falco, who was president and chief operating officer of the NBCU Television Group before leaving for AOL in November.

Among the executives who have not yet had their new responsibilities enumerated is Jeff Gaspin, now president of NBC Universal Cable Entertainment, Digital Content and Cross-Network Strategy.
