Les Eisner has been tapped as executive vice president at the Lippin Group, an international entertainment marketing and public relations firm. The appointment is effective immediately.

In his new position, Mr. Eisner will be responsible for overseeing corporate communications and public relations campaigns for a number of the Lippin Group’s major television, film and new-media clients in the U.S. and abroad, the company said Wednesday. Mr. Eisner will report directly to company chairman and CEO Dick Lippin.

“Les was an important part of our company for 10 years and I fully expect his contributions to be even greater in the years ahead,” Mr. Lippin said. “He is knowledgeable, talented and well liked by clients and his colleagues. That is a winning combination.”

Most recently, Mr. Eisner served as vice president of media relations for Twentieth Television, where he oversaw all corporate communications, show publicity and talent relations for the distributor. He also was involved with the launch of MyNetworkTV.

Prior to joining Twentieth Television in 2004, he worked for 10 years at the Lippin Group as vice president, representing such major global and domestic organizations as the National Association of Television Program Executives, Tribune Entertainment, DirecTV, Crown Media Holdings and the Hallmark Channel.
