VH1 is taking on scripted comedy with a new series called “I Hate My 30s.”

The ensemble series is framed by a doctor character who guides viewers on a study of a group of people on the verge of turning 30.

VH1 has ordered eight episodes of the series, which will debut this spring and is produced by Drama ¾ and VH1. The project was announced at the Television Critics Association’s semi-annual press tour.
