Advance Lands BASS Sponsorship Deal

Advance Auto Parts will be the exclusive auto parts sponsor of BASS, ESPN’s fishing brand.

The new multiyear agreement also makes Advance the exclusive presenting sponsor of the Bassmaster American and the Bassmaster Elite Series Blue Ridge Brawl in 2007.

Advance will be a supporting sponsor of BASS’ Federation Nation National Championship event and the women’s Bassmaster Tour.

Advance will continue to air new television spots during ESPN Outdoors programming on ESPN2, including the “Advance Know-How, Presented by Advance Auto Parts” mini-shows focusing on tips and techniques from the full-time Advance Auto Parts BASS Pro Team.

The agreement includes a large presence across BASS’ multimedia assets, including Bassmaster Magazine.

“We are excited about our continued involvement with the sport of bass fishing,” said Samuel Hampton, director of marketing for Advance. “Our goal is to become the preferred auto parts store of the bass fishing community and outdoor industry.”
