Internet television startup Move Networks, which helps TV networks deliver their video on the Web, landed $11.3 million in funding, the company said.

Investors include Hummer Winblad Venture Partners and Steamboat Ventures. Move currently works with the CW and with Fox Networks.

Move’s funding news follows a flurry of financial activity in the online video business in the last month. Brightcove secured $59.5 million in funding in mid-January, while ROO agreed to sell 10 percent of itself to News Corp. last week.

Move said that its research shows that Web viewers who watch video using Move’s server and player watch for more than 35 minutes, compared to under 10 minutes for other players and servers.
