Bravo Promotes Web Exec Klarman

Jason Klarman has been promoted to executive VP, marketing and digital, at Bravo.

Mr. Klarman, previously senior VP, marketing and brand strategy, will add responsibility for ad sales marketing, working with Bravo’s head of sales, Susan Malfa, who recently joined Bravo from Court TV.

In addition to handling brand strategy and consumer marketing for Bravo, Mr. Klarman oversees the strategy, content and operations for Bravo’s digital portfolio, including BravoTV.com and broadband channels such as BrilliantButCancelled.com and OUTzoneTV.com.

His campaigns helped create buzz around Bravo’s launch of shows including “Project Runway,” “Top Chef” and “The Real Housewives of Orange County.”

“Jason is an idea generator who exhibits the clever creativity and innovative spirit that are signature to Bravo,” Lauren Zalaznick, president of Bravo, said in a statement Wednesday.
