Comcast and Sinclair Broadcast said they have agreed to extend until March 10 a retransmission agreement that was set to expire today.

“Comcast customers will continue to receive Sinclair-owned channels while the companies continue to work to reach a fair agreement,” the cable operator said in a statement Thursday.

Broadcasters like Sinclair have been pushing cable operators to pay cash to carry television station signals. While some smaller operators have agreed, larger operators are resisting.
