The Tuesday night reign of “American Idol” continued with another dominating performance.

“Idol” earned an 11.6 rating among adults 18 to 49, according to preliminary Nielsens, down just slightly from last week.

CBS was a distant No. 2 with a new “NCIS” (3.6) and “The Unit” (3.3), followed by a repeat “CSI.”

NBC was third with “Dateline” (1.9) and “Law & Order” repeats.

ABC was fourth with a repeat “America’s Funniest Home Videos,” followed by “Primetime” (1.7) and “Boston Legal” (2.5).

On The CW, after a repeat “Gilmore Girls,” the third week of “Pussycat Dolls: The Search for the Next Doll” was up slightly to a 1.3.
