Starz Entertainment continues to dig into original programming, unveiling “The Starz Comedy Hour” last week.

The weekly comedy block will launch April 18 featuring original series “Head Case,” “Martin Lawrence’s First Amendment Standup” and “The Bronx Bunny Show.” The cable network will feature 10 original episodes of each series for 10 weeks.

“Head Case” features Alexandra Wentworth as Dr. Elizabeth Goode, the “It therapist” to Hollywood’s maladjusted celebrity elite. Among celebs to get the “Goode treatment” are Rick Fox, Alanis Morrisette, Jason Priestley, Sean Hayes, Jane Kaczmarek, Fred Willard and Andy Dick.

“First Amendment Standup” is an uncensored comedy showcase. “The Bronx Bunny Show” stars two foul-mouthed furry animals, the star-struck title character and his cranky sidekick Teddy T, the politically incorrect panda, who invite celebrity guests to their low-rent, uncensored public-access show.
