Video-on-demand and broadband network FearNet added user-generated video tools to its online site today at fearnet.com. FearNet, a joint venture of Sony Pictures Television, Lionsgate and Comcast, features horror movies and related content.

The new user-generated features will enable fans to upload their own content and also produce and manage custom video playlists.

The site counts more than 50,000 registered users.

The partners also said the Web site will host exclusively the blog for “Saw” director Darren Lynn Bousman, as he writes from the set of Lionsgate feature “Saw IV.”
