Elisabeth Hasselbeck, the lone conservative among the ladies of ABC’s “The View,” will sit in for Gretchen Carlson as co-host of top-rated “Fox & Friends” from 7-9 a.m. Monday on Fox News Channel. The booking is expected to be announced this afternoon.

It will not be the first appearance on Fox News Channel for the young woman who is frequently berated, and then apologized to, by Rosie O’Donnell, her political opposite on “The View.”

Ms. Hasselbeck was the guest of Sean Hannity in the first installment of his weekly Fox show, “Hannity’s America,” in January. She’s also scheduled to appear on “Hannity & Colmes” at 9 o’clock tonight.
