HBO extended its output deal with Universal Pictures, keeping top Universal Films on HBO exclusively until about 2015.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

HBO and Universal have had an exclusive arrangement since 2003. Movies from Universal’s Focus Features and Rogue Pictures are included in the agreement.

“This deal with Universal Pictures reflects HBO’s commitment to offer the best and most theatrical films out of Hollywood,” said Harold Akselrad, executive VP and general counsel at HBO.
