Vadas Headed for CW

The CW has found its new head of reality.
Vadas
Kristen Connolly Vadas is expected to be named senior VP of alternative programming for the network as early as this week, people familiar with the situation said. She’ll be in charge of overseeing CW reality series such as “America’s Next Top Model” while also developing some (much-needed) new reality projects.
Ms. Vadas fills the gap left by the August departure of Jennifer Bresnan, the former CW reality chief who now occupies the top alternative spot at CBS.
The CW recruited its new reality boss from Oxygen, where Ms. Vadas was a West Coast-based VP of development.
There’s been plenty of turmoil in the networks’ reality departments this year. In addition to the changes at CBS and The CW, NBC has been talking to BBC executive Paul Telegdy about replacing Craig Plestis as its head of alternative.
NBC isn’t commenting on the situation.
