A new supernatural cable drama premiered to solid numbers Sunday. Deadline.com reports that 1.9 million total viewers tuned in to Lifetime for "Witches of East End."
That’s a slight dip from Lifetime’s "Devious Maids," which debuted in June to 2 million total viewers. But "Witches" was up in key demographics, including 905,000 viewers in the 18-49 segment, up 10% from "Maids," the piece adds.
"Witches" will run for 10 episodes this fall, and stars Julia Ormond as the head of a family of witches.
