Hearst Television stations went dark on Dish Network starting Tuesday night, after the two companies “hit a wall” in their retransmission negotiations, reports Deadline.com.
The deal between the two companies expired March 1, although they extended the deadline to 7 p.m. PT on April 8. The blackout affects more than two dozen Hearst stations, including WCVB-TV in Boston, an ABC affiliate, and stations in markets including Sacramento, Pittsburgh and Tampa.
