August was not a good month, ratingswise, for one cable news show. TVBytheNumbers.com reports that the CNBC show “On the Money” averaged an all-time low in the key news demo.
The program, hosted by Becky Quick, averaged just 5,000 viewers in the adults 25-54 demo, the story reports. Its average in total viewers was 28,000.
The weekly program airs Sunday evenings on CNBC. The program was rebooted with Quick in the host’s chair after Maria Bartiromo left CNBC in November 2013. The show traces its roots to 1970, when it debuted as “The Wall Street Journal Report.”
