A new animated series from the prolific TV creator behind “King of the Hill,” “Silicon Valley,” “Beavis and Butt-Head” and other shows is ready to roll out on Cinemax. The pay cabler firmed up plans this week for Mike Judge’s “Tales From the Tour Bus,” which bows Friday, Sept. 22.

Judge co-created, narrates and serves as an executive producer on the series, which recounts the notoriously wild adventures of musicians such as Johnny Paycheck, George Jones, Tammy Wynette, Blaze Foley and Billy Joe Shaver.
