Second City 50th Anniversary Plans Include SCTV Reunion With Andrea Martin, Harold Ramis, Martin Short, Dave Thomas, Catherine O’Hara, Joe Flaherty, Eugene Levy THR

One of the most creative comedy troupes in clubs and on television, The Second City, will celebrate its 50th anniversary this fall, reports the Hollywood Reporter.

There will be a variety of events, including panels, screenings and video retrospectives, culminating with an SCTV Reunion the weekend Dec. 11-13 in Chicago that will feature Andrea Martin, Harold Ramis, Martin Short, Dave Thomas, Catherine O’Hara, Joe Flaherty, Eugene Levy and some special guests. The late John Candy was an integral part of the SCTV company, as well.
