Barry Sonnenfeld Sets New ABC Deal; Includes 'Supermom' Comedy Produced with Former Top ABC Exec Stu Bloomberg THR

Producer-director Barry Sonnenfeld (“Pushing Daisies”) is close to signing a two-year first-look deal with ABC and ABC Studios, and already has a script commitment for a multicamera comedy, reports The Hollywood Reporter.

The untitled comedy, which Sonnenfeld is producing with former ABC executive Stu Bloomberg, is being written by Laura House and focuses on a harried housewife who can turn into “Supermom” by putting on a special suit.
