From the CW, the First Cancellation of the TV Season LA Times

While a lot of new shows have done well, we've now had the first cancellation of the TV season.

Ashton Kutcher's "The Beautiful Life," which he produced for the CW, is gone after just two airings reports the Los Angeles Times.

In its first airing it drew 1.5 million viewers, and dropped to 1 million this past Wednesday night. Reruns of "Melrose Place" will air in its time slot.

The show seemed to be in trouble before it ever began filming, when co-star Misha Barton was placed under involuntary psychiatric hold by the Los Angeles Police Department.
