Big Change in Letterman’s Writers’ Room NY Times

The writers’ room at CBS’ “Late Show With David Letterman” has made a major change, The New York Times reports.

The program has now added a female writer, Jill Goodwin, to its staff, making it no longer a purely male bastion. Goodwin, who has been on staff at the show since 2001 and was considered in line for a promotion, was most recently an assistant for the writing team.

Oh good..a female outlook in the Writers Room! Wow! I find the writing on the show absolutely WONDERFUL...the best Late Night Writers anywhere...maybe Televisions Best Writers, but now I can rest easy that a woman will be in there pitching...you know, a great addition...like the woman on the sidelines at NFL Football Games! Wow! I would miss THEM like I would miss a debilatating headache! Hey this could be a payoff for David's messing around with the female staff...a promised promotion??Who knows..maybe they could come up with a top 10 reasons to have a female on the writing staff and run out after number 9.
Sheeesh!
