‘Deadliest Catch’ Captain Dies AP
One of the real-life stars of Discovery Channel's popular "Deadliest Catch" has died after suffering a stroke on Jan 29th, the Associated Press reports.
Phil Harris, 53, was the captain of the fishing boat Cornelia Marie.
Sons Josh and Jake Harris issued a statement through the network that said: "It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to our dad - Captain Phil Harris. Dad has always been a fighter and continued to be until the end. For us and the crew, he was someone who never backed down."

capt harris.....thx for the great voyages you gave us all , you also were a true father in the way you handled your sons ,in the way you worked w/ them by teaching them all the points of running the ship and fishing , your a great father figure....fish forever in peace
