Tiger Woods apology this morning didn't mention any specifics about a return to golf, which could be a major issue with PGA viewership, tvbythenumbers.com says.
TVBythenumbers.com points out that Tiger's injury in 2008 that for took a major bite out of viewership levels during the entire season. Year-to-year, the 2008-09 PGA season was down 46.8% in total viewers versus the 2007-08 season with a playing Tiger Woods.
It's still yet to be seen if viewers will return to watching Tiger play in spite of the controversy he has found himself in.
