Disney Channel is planning a spinoff of "High School Musical" which will focus on the hit show’s drama queen, Sharpay Evans, Multichannel News reports.

Ashley Tisdale, who played Evans in the original movie, will reprise her role in the TV movie "Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventure," which is slated to air in 2011, the article states.

The movie will follow Sharpay as she lives out her dream of moving to New York, where she hopes to make it big. But, like almost every story about fresh-faced hopefuls moving to the Big Apple, she finds success doesn’t come as easily as she had thought it would. Disney’s also planning a "High School Musical 4" to air in 2011, Multichannel reports.
