NBC Universal Makes New Appointment, Sets Big Deal With General Mills

Bill Stewart, once a K-Mart marketing executive, has been named NBC Universal’s so-called "chief marketing officer-in-residence," a new position effective in May 2010, reports B&C.

It will be Stewart’s job to help leverage NBCU’s many assets by creating specialized, targeted projects customize to the client’s goals.

NBC Universal also reported today that it has joined with General Mills for its first-ever Health Week.

Health Week commences on June 21. Among the promotions, General Mills brands like Cheerios and Yoplait, will be advertised across NBC Universal platforms, including specialized shorts that will be broadcast on Bravo and Oxygen.
