Mike Tyson, former heavyweight champion, will sit down for an interview with Barbara Walters on May 7 on ABC’s daytime talk show "The View," the network announced. 

It’s a reunion of sorts for Walters and Tyson. The two had a memorable encounter in 1988 on ABC’s "20/20," in which Tyson was with his then-wife, actress Robin Givens.

Also, Oscar-nominee Gabourey Sidibe has been scheduled as a guest host on the program next week, marking her first experience in that role on the show. Sidibe will appear next Wednesday.
