"The Oprah Winfrey Show" recorded its lowest ever ratings last week since the program began in 1986, TVbytheNumbers.com reports.

The show recorded an all-time low of a 3.0 household rating, representing a 23% slide from a year earlier. Meanwhile, "Judge Judy" saw a 13% bump in ratings, ranking third among all syndicated shows, and drawing about 6 million viewers. That represents about 2 million more than those who tuned in for "Oprah" and is also the 12th week among the last 14 weeks that "Judge Judy" has outpaced "Oprah," the story says.

Both first-run syndicated shows are distributed by CBS Television Distribution.

  1. So what? Oprah is leaving syndication soon. Who cares that her ratings are down? Maybe she has short-timer syndrome and is just coasting.
