‘Big Brother’ Takes Top Honors on a Slow Night in the Ratings

On another slow summer night on the networks, CBS’s "Big Brother" was the strongest show in the Nielsen ratings, according to TVbytheNumbers.com.

At 8 p.m. "Big Brother" scored a 2.4 rating in the 18-49 demographic, tops for the hour and the night.

ABC’s "Rookie Blue" and Fox’s "So You Think You Can Dance" tied for the 9 p.m. hour in the ratings, both netting a 1.8 rating in the 18-49 demographic.

The last non-rerun of the night was ABC’s "Boston Med" at 10 p.m., which earned a 1.3 in the demo.
