A new unscripted series in the tradition of the classic documentary "Scared Straight!," A&E’s show "Beyond Scared Straight," scored the highest ratings ever for an original series premiere on the cable net, reports Deadline.com.

"Beyond Scared Straight" was the most-watched debut ever on A&E with 3.7 million viewers, including 2.2 million in the 18-49 demographic and 2.1 million in 25-54 demo.
