ABC, ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Win Thursday Night in the Ratings

On the strength of a fresh episode of “Grey’s Anatomy” and solid numbers for “Winter Wipeout,” ABC won the night Thursday in the 18-49 demo, TVbytheNumbers.com reported.

ABC averaged a 3.3 rating for the night in adults 18-49, ahead of CBS (2.3 average rating), Fox (1.5), Univision (1.4) and NBC (1.3). In total viewers it was CBS with a narrow win over ABC, with CBS averaging 10.1 million to ABC’s 9.6 million. Fox was well behind with 5.0 million, followed by Univision (3.6 million) and NBC (2.9 million).

At 8 p.m. ABC’s "Winter Wipeout" kicked off the night with a solid 3.6 in the 18-49 demographic, better than Fox’s "Million Dollar Money Drop," which had only a 1.7 in the same demo. At 8:30 a new "$#*! My Dad Says" on CBS logged a 2.9 in the 18-49 demo.

At 9 p.m., up against all reruns, "Grey’s Anatomy" collected a 4.4 in the 18-49 demographic.

The new ABC medical drama "Off the Map" aired at 10 p.m., also up against repeats, and managed a 2.0 in the 18-49 demo.
