A conservative radio host has offered to give Newt Gingrich $1 million to drop out of the Republican presidential primary, The Huffington Post reports.

Michael Savage made the offer on his website, the story reports. Savage hosts the nation’s third-highest-rated radio show.

Savage reportedly urged Gingrich to “take the money,” and said Gingrich must drop out within 72 hours.

Savage said Gingrich “will come off badly compared to Obama” in the debates, the story reports. He also reportedly said Gingrich will “look like nothing more than what he is: a fat old white man.”

  1. Savage might as well make all of the candidates the same offer. Not a one of them has shown a glimmer of anything that will win the next election.

  2. Since when is a fat old white man undesirable to conservative voters? Who is Savage supporting? Wanda Sykes?
