Universal Television has signed "Parenthood" co-executive producer Sarah Watson to a two-year overall deal, reports Deadline.com.
Watson has worked on the Universal TV-produced show since it started, beginning as producer and moving up to co-executive producer, the story notes. "Parenthood" executive producer Jason Katims wanted to keep Watson on the show while his new pilot "County" is under consideration at NBC, the piece adds.
Watson will continue to work on "Parenthood" if it’s renewed for a fourth season, which the article describes as likely to happen, or on "County" if it’s picked up to series.
