1960s Blunder in 'Mad Men' Gets Fans, Well, Mad NY Post

Fans of "Mad Men" pointed out a history mistake in the show's Sunday episode, when Joan Harris asks a friend whether she wants her to make a reservation at Le Cirque for them. The show is set in 1969, and Le Cirque didn't open until 1974, reports the New York Post.

Fans flooded social-media sites to point out the error, the story says. The show has made other history flubs before, including last season's first episode, which was set in 1966 and featured Dusty Springfield's "The Look of Love," which wasn't released until 1967.
