FX is working on a comedy series starring D.L. Hughley and based on the comedian’s life, reports Deadline.com. The project is similar to FX’s "Louie," starring Louis C.K., in that it will be autobiographical and feature a stand-up comedian.

The untitled project will focus on Hughley’s life experiences and on his roles as a radio host and family man.

"Hughley has been married for more than 25 years and has three children. He had a New York radio show a couple of years ago and recently signed on to host a nationally syndicated afternoon drive show," the story notes.
