Rosie O'Donnell gave a less than sparkling review to the new OWN docu-series "Lindsay." E! Online reports that O'Donnell was on Twitter today offering her opinion on Lohan and the show.

O'Donnell tweeted: "The Lindsay show is a tragedy – on every level. I hope one day she gets sober for real and watches these episodes – n sees what we all do."

The series "follows the actress as she moves from L.A. to NYC while navigating the limelight under the pesky eye of the prying paps, following her sixth attempt at getting sober," the article notes. "But in typical Lindsay fashion, it's been a bumpy road to recovery, as viewers have seen the starlet struggle and even admit to drinking post-rehab in a recent episode."

Lohan, 27, indicated on a recent appearance on David Letterman's show that the finished product may not tell the whole story.

During her appearance on "Late Show," Lohan said of her show: "It's edited very differently. Some things are taken out of context and that creates the drama and the spectacle. I don't have control of the editing. I am producer, but I don't have control of that aspect of it. But it's pretty raw. I mean, it's just me kind of sorting out life again and figuring things out. Taking new steps and living in like, sober-minded, it's a process."
