"30 Rock" actor Alec Baldwin urged his more than 700,000 Twitter followers to contact another Twitter user who had allegedly repeatedly sent harassing notes to Baldwin’s girlfriend, Hilaria Thomas, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Baldwin wrote that while he has met some wonderful people on Twitter, some "cross a line and, for example, attack my relationship with my daughter. One person, however, has really gone too far," according to the article.

Baldwin gave his followers the Twitter handle of the user, @scarfacemadam, and asked them to "go to her address, and read just a few of her posts, and give her your notice of her behavior," according to the story.

The tactic apparently worked, as the user soon deleted her profile after the request resulted in many harsh tweets from Baldwin’s followers, the piece adds.
