The fired host of "The X Factor" has found a temporary home on a TV magazine show, according to The Hollywood Reporter’s Live Feed.

Steve Jones landed on "Entertainment Tonight," where he will anchor with Nancy O’Dell on Wednesday and Thursday, the story reports.

Jones made the announcement about his short gig on Twitter, telling fans, "This is going to be fun!" the story notes. Jones was fired from "The X Factor" along with judges Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger as creator Simon Cowell seeks to hire new talent for the show, the piece adds.
