Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage are finalizing a deal to move their Fake Empire banner to ABC Studios from Warner Bros. TV, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Under what’s being described as a lucrative three-year deal, the pair will be leaving behind their more than decade-long relationship with Warner Bros. TV, the story says.

Fake Empire, which grew out of a previous incarnation called College Hill Pictures, has created shows such as The CW’s "Hart of Dixie" and "The Carrie Diaries." College Hill Pictures, formed in 2003, was behind “The O.C.,” “Gossip Girl” and “Chuck.” The company evolved into Fake Empire in 2010.

The deal with ABC Studios will start in June, after the pair’s current three-year deal at Warner Bros. ends.

"Proving in demand once again, Fake Empire currently had six projects in development at a collection of networks this development season," the story notes. "For ABC Studios, this is said to be part of a bid for big names as well as fare across the network fold. Warner Bros. TV has been more aggressive in this arena in recent years, luring both ‘Arrow’s’ Greg Berlanti and ‘Cougar Town’s’ Bill Lawrence away from ABC."
